New York!♡

New York is my favorite place in the entire world - besides Barnes & Noble - and I really just want to live there. 

 

Our school does a trip to New York every year. It's thanks to them that I was able to see my favorite musical, Les Mis, live during my freshman year, and bawled my eyes out during the whole show. This year, Aladdin was the choice for what musical to see.  I was so excited, because I only heard great things about this show, and Aladdin is close to being one of my favorite Disney characters. The musical was really good, and the sets and clothing were absolutely beautiful - especially the magic carpet ride scene - but unfortunately, I wasn't too blown away by anything. But I'm not complaining, I still had a great time and paid $5 to do all this! 

We had time to kill before the show, and the main thing on our list was to go to the Disney store. My roommate wanted to get a Pua stuffed animal, and I'm obsessed with all things Disney. We got lunch as this small, really cute cafe called Amy's Bread. They had sandwiches, coffee, cupcakes, etc. It was nice!

This was also my first time going to Bryant Park. I fell in love instantly, and never wanted to leave. It'd be such a great spot to sit and write at. And to top it off, there was an adorable book store across the street. The first floor was an array of genres that one would find anywhere else, but the second floor was all manga and other anime related things. I got the most beautiful Black Butler artwork book.

It's called Kinokuniya, and I'm so obsessed with it, and wish I was back!
