What I Got For Christmas! ♡
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas or a wonderful holiday! Last year I did vlogmas on YouTube, which is posting a vlog everyday until Christmas. This year I opted for writing blog posts, which I will surely be keeping up with.
This post will be about Christmas day as well as having some pictures of my presents. I might want to make a "What I Got For Christmas" video on my channel - which is abandoned - but I have not decided yet!
Posts like these should not have disclaimers because I assume that since you all have clicked on this post, you are interested in what I received for Christmas :) But I will say, I am an only child, and I'm incredibly thankful for what everyone got me this year, but most of all I hope I was able to make their Christmas as enjoyable as mine.
I'll start withe an overall picture of most of the presents:
The stack of books are from my mom and my boyfriend. Starting from the top and going down: Go Set A Watchman by Harper Lee, Secrets for the Mad by dodie clark, a collection of Viking Myths by Archer, soft thorns by Bridgett Devoue, Love & Vodka by Christina Strigas, Smoke & Mirrors by Michal Faudet (who is one of my favorite poets and this is his latest collection!), A Darker Shade of Magic trilogy by V.E. Schwab, and Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire. And I also got Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas! I love books and I love reading. I can't wait to dive into one!
My boyfriend also got me this comic book series, Skin & Earth by the singer Lights!
I got a few makeup palettes that I've had my eye on: Violet Voss Holy Grail, Naked 3, Too Faced Kandee, Too Faced Natural Eyes and then a Too Faced highlight. Everything is so shimmery and pigmented!
My mom also got me a velvet pajama set from Victoria's Secret; a lavender shirt and pink tee with "Fight Like A Girl" embroidered on it and a big cozy scarf from Urban Outfitters; my boyfriend let me pick out two cardigans from Forever 21; and my aunt got me a baggy, multicolored cardigan which is also from Urban Outfitters!
I also got this adorable cat duvet cover, since mine has not had a cover for 2 years, lol:
One of my favorite presents is this Alex & Ani bracelet my boyfriend got me :') The name of it is Moonlight and it brings light into your life. I love it so much because I love the moon, and also because my boyfriend got it for me!
My big present for this year was a Mac from my mom and her boyfriend. It's so sleek and lightweight, I've never had a Mac before. I'm so thankful!
